Magnolia, Simple stamping, Thank you

Blue magnolia

Hey everyone. So I had to do it. I just HAD to create a blue version!

The magnolia stamp set is gorgeous, but as you know I love blue, I thought I’d give it a go in blue! I really love the outcome and actually made 2๐Ÿ˜‚

The first card I made by stamping in Balmy Blue onto whisper white cardstock. I then coloured using blends. I used Balmy Blue for the flower and old olive for the leaves, leaving a tiny amount of white which I blended out. This gives the effect of highlights. I then added the sentiment ‘thanks’ which I heat embossed in white, over a ‘background’ of Balmy Blue (scribbled with a blend!!) on some whisper white- very complicated lol๐Ÿ˜‰ย I put a piece of ribbon behind and added a little bow made from twine. A few sequins finished it off๐Ÿ˜Š

The second card is a great example of simple stamping! I stamped in Balmy Blue -both the magnolia and the sentiment- onto whisper white, which I mounted onto a Balmy Blue card base. I then took my light Balmy Blue Stampin’ blend and coloured all around the outside edge of the image. I love the simplicity of this card and it’s sooo easy!!

I hope you like my blue cards (as much as I do!๐Ÿ˜‰)

To recreate these cards just head to my online store to purchase all the materials you need. I’d love to be your demonstrator! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Love Jane x
